(Revit and AutoCAD 2008/MEP 2008)

Walsh Engineers is looking for a Sr. CAD Technician/Manager. This position will be responsible for the implementation of AutoCAD 2008, MEP 2008, and Revit. The position is also responsible for implementing and maintaining HVAC and Plumbing, standards and details. The successful candidate will take a lead role supporting the CAD department needs and interfacing with the director of operations and the engineering staff; must be a capable team-builder and management direct and manage a seven person team. Specific responsibilities include:

1. Successfully meet client deliverables on schedule
2. Work efficiently between different clients’ standards
3. Manage workload within CAD department
4. Maintain department CAD standards and details library
5. Mentor CAD personnel and engineers in CAD operations
6. Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate
7. Experience with internal or external collaboration software experience such as ProjectWise, Buzzsaw or Expedition
